The Founding Roots

Mr. Abdul Aziz establishes the family's weaving trade — the first thread of a century-long craft.

Where Patterns Begin

The family advances the traditional art of hand-drawn rug designing, where every pattern begins by hand.

The Next Generation

Mr. Rajab Ali expands the stores, deepening the family's mastery of hand weaving.

1965
The House of Making

The house begins in-house production, bringing weaving, supervisors, and craftsmanship under one roof.

A New Direction

Mr. Abdul Rub envisioned the family business, bringing fresh vision as Bhadohi's handmade rugs began reaching Europe.

1985
The U.S. Chapter

The family's handmade rugs began reaching the United States, opening new doors for global growth and partnerships.

1996
Education for Her Future

A women's college was established to give more girls access to education, confidence, and opportunity.

2002
Women Weave Forward

A weaving unit was started for women, giving them a place to learn the craft, earn with pride, and build their confidence.

Craft Across Borders

RMC Collections handcrafted Overseas Handmade, taking Bhadohi's handmade rugs to the world with pride and craft.

Roots Move Forward

The third generation carries the family's old values forward while opening new paths for growth and expansion.

Beyond the Rug

Decorative cushions were introduced, taking the family's textile craft beyond rugs and into new home spaces.

2014
Craft at Scale

Broadloom was introduced, allowing RMC to create larger textile solutions for bigger spaces and projects.

Responsible Weaving

Solar energy became part of RMC's everyday running, moving the company towards cleaner, responsible production.

Care for Tomorrow

A wastewater treatment plant was established, making sustainability a part of everyday production.
